Starting in the fall of 2009 the Iowa and Illinois (IAI) Stunners Basketball Club offered an elite program for girls entering the 6th Grade or under. By the Fall 2014 the goal will be to field boys and girls teams in each Grade 3rd through 8th. Tryouts for the Fall and Winter season each year are in August, practice begins in September, and tournaments are entered from November through March. Tryouts for the spring and summer season each year are in March, practice begins in April, and tournaments are entered from May through the first weekend in August.
The Mission of the IAI Stunners Basketball Club is to offer a competitive atmosphere for athletes in the Quad City area to play with and against the best players to form a "cohesive" team. In addition, our mission is to develop the "complete teammate".
The IAI Stunners Basketball Club is designed for the player that wants to enjoy a positive youth sports experience and increase his or her opportunity to play at the high school level and beyond.
